I enjoy using tiny 3mm Beads, and bicone beads are my favorite of them all. Beads may seem like a small subject, but there are actually a ton of different bicone beads out there. I'd like to provide the reader with a list of different bicone beads to give them an idea on which to pick for their next design.

Glass bicone beads are certainly the most popular type of bicone bead in my opinion. You can usually see them on a wide variety of clothing and many other decorative objects. They come in a wide range of different colors making them suitable for almost any design that you could think of. Depending on the quality of the bead, the price may vary. This is true for most beads. Chinese glass bicones are considered to be the most economic type of this bead that is available. I have used quite a few of these Chinese bicones and I can confidently recommend them. They are aesthetically pleasing and seem to last quite a long time. Glass bicone beads are also called crystal bicone beads, the two terms are interchangeable.
Czech Bicone Beads
Czech bicone beads are simply a type of bead that is made in the Czech Republic. What separates this certain bead from the rest is quality. Czech beads have an excellent reputation for producing high quality beads. You cannot go wrong buying czech bicone beads, I have used them countless times and never had a single issue. I highly recommend using this type of bead if you are decorating something that truly means something to you.
Bicone Bead Sizes
It is also important to note that they come in a wide variety of sizes, there are 3mm bicone bead sizes, 4mm bicone bead sizes, and even up to 6mm bicone bead sizes. You just need to determine what size would fit best with the specific object you are decorating. I usually buy a wide variety of sizes and see which works out best for the specific project I am working on. I usually resort to the smaller sizes because I don't like creating things that are decorated in such a way that it appears to be flashy. I like a more toned down decorative design for the most part. But, each person has their own preference.
